Countdown Begins

In some strange way, I feel as if there is a countdown taking place.

A countdown to my first day at work at my new job.

I'm not sure why this should be.

Do I feel nervous? Excited?

A bit of both I suppose.

Most of all, I think I feel a sense of purpose. The Lord had prepared me for this invitation to be part of the team there. When the invitation came, there was initial surprise, but then an inner conviction that it was right, confirmed by others close to me.

So whatever it holds, I know that this is a gift from the Lord to be taken.
