Phew!

It's been one week since I started my new job.

"How has it been?" many of you have asked.

Well, handovers are always very packed and full. Sometimes they can be messy.

But this one? It's been good.

The person who is leaving has been doing a fantastic job in handing over. Such grace. Such professionalism. Such poise. I couldn't have asked for better. She is generous in her manner, open in her attitude, and thorough in her presentations. Constantly thinking of how to make it easier for my transition, she packages her handover in manageable bite sizes. I feel as if I have been given a full course meal each day, but not overdone.

This is one lady who is going to be missed a lot and not just by me.

I hope I can fit the shoes she is going to leave behind!
